I currently have a level 26 character, and a few others around about level 15. I had one great clan conversation once in game.. about Loz's plans to dress as a stormtrooper to go snowboarding... but that was it.. on other occassions the guild chat was either empty or people of much higher level were busy...
I had a few enjoyable moments of game play, while teaming up with random players I met along the way... But as far as the guild goes, it has left me feeling very very empty... And without their isn't a pull to play the actual game. I haven't actually logged on for nearly a week now..
I am asking for your thoughts on this... And, perhaps controversially asking, how many of you are going to play Warhammer Online??
I like MMORPG and I like all of you guys... But I haven't found them together in Conan yet??? _________________ Erradoor - Guardian

sorry you feel that way but i understand why by the time you joined Aartan realy had nothing to do with old AR nearly all the members are new ones brought in after the game started and only resone i kept the Aartan part of the guild name was its well known on our server. since you joined some of us have made new alts and took them (what i consider slowly) to around mid 50ish alas i have seen you online 3 maybe 4 times so thay fast out leveled you and the changes to the mentor system make it nolonger poss to group with a big lvl gap, on top of that the guild was in need of a high lvl healer so iv been busy geting my PoM leveled up so we can do endgame instances and raid aliances.
As for WaR i wont go near that cant stand WoW and WaR is the same kind of setting, orcs and poor grafix just dont apeal to me but i know some old school AR are loving it so hope you find them and have fun. _________________ aka the Black Lotus

Yep as far as WAR goes theres a couple of us over at http://www.online-gamers.org/. Well I kind of lost interest in AoC at lvl 55 had no quests to do and a bunch of old aartans stopped playing. _________________ Some time later the Last Scion ate a pancake...

IMO AoC isn't a patch on what I thought it was going to be. It's got nice gfx, that's about it.
A whole load of old AR heads (mostly the guys who founded DoF in WoW) are now in War and loving it - IMO it's the best level based MMO made so far, easily outdoes every other one I've played... inc WoW. _________________

WAR is great compared to most other mmo's not had this much fun on an mmo since SWG pre NGE. Theres always something to do in WAR and theres practically 3 different methods of play really so you can do which you like, theres pvp, Public quests and normal quests. When i get bored of doing quests i simply go pvp and gain normal xp and pvp xp at same time . |
